What is the History Bee?
The National History Bee is a competition in which middle school students compete by answering questions created by history teachers, professors, and other social studies educators from around the United States.

How does it work?
Stage 1
Students at Hill Country Middle School will be given a multiple-choice online exam in their social studies classroom on Tuesday, January 15th. This will be the qualifying round of the History Bee.
Stage 2
The highest-scoring students on the Online Exam are invited to attend the Regional Finals in Austin, TX. Students can display their knowledge and qualify for the National Finals. Regional finals will be held in Austin, TX on March 9th.
Stage 3
Qualifiers and Champions are invited to compete in the National Finals. Date and location are TBA, but it will be in June.
